In order to rent a house in the Netherlands you will need generally the following documents:
1) A valid passport
2) Your contract with your company
3) Payment slips for the last three months (Some real estate agents may ignore this, especially if you are new in the Netherlands. Because if you are new in the Netherlands then you cannot show a Dutch payment slip for the last 3 months.)
Your salary must also be within a certain range which is directly related with the rent of the house. This amount will be calculated and told you by the real estate agencies.
